Pumpkin Shopping

Tate's First Haircut

Guess who got a haircut a few weeks ago?  By all accounts, it was a success.  Minimal crying from the little guy.  The trick employed?  Bubbles!

Soccer Star

This season Adam is on the maroon soccer team.  So far their scrimmages against the other teams have gone very well.  Adam loves playing every Saturday!

Fall at Gore Estate

We visited Gore Estate for their annual fall festival.  Adam and Ashley liked the Waltham Arts table best:

Tate is One Year Old!

Tate is one year old! He's a joyous little guy who smiles, eats, and is slowly learning how to cruise around.  He's added "dow" to his vocabulary.  He holds his hands up and says "up!" and then lowers them and says "dow...".  He's also using more baby sign language (more on that in another post).

We celebrated by taking photos in a studio (not too exciting) and having cake with the family (thrilling!).  It's fun to watch Tate try and eat the cake.

Dinner at the Circus

Sometimes dinner feels like a three ring circus complete with clowns!  This particular evening was fun to watch:

Tate has developed a new preference.  He still likes sucking on his two fingers, but now he also prefers to be nestled into someone's shoulder.  It's adorable.  He whoops, carries on, grabs for your shoulder, and then settles in for a brief minute or two.  Melts your heart:
