Skip's Cruise Night

Another summer weekend, another car show to visit. It entertains 80% of our family and amuses the remaining 20%.  Not too many activities out there like that.

So this weekend found us in Merrimac at Skip's Burgers.  The line was crazy long, so we had lunch elsewhere.  But we got there in time to see most of the cars roll in, and then we walked the grounds.  It was so much fun!

This time Adam preferred something new, not old.

And for the second show in a row, Ashley professed interest in a "rust rat".

Ashley even got to play with a fire engine!

Cruisin' the Tree

Another day, another car show.  This time the A-Team got to sit in a cool camper!

Adam declared this one his "favorite of the show"... and we saw it a week later at another show!

For the record, Adam is so busy looking at the cars that he won't pose for a photo unless he really, really, really likes the car.  Ashley, on the other hand, seems to enjoy hamming it up for the camera.  And where was Mr T?  At home, snoozin'.

Big Brother in Action

This was an especially cute moment.  For a kid who often delays putting on his own shoes, he's very quick to help his little brother with his.

Camp: Wrap-Up

Accessorized

Ashley got her ears pierced!  She was such a big girl and healed beautifully.  Most interesting part of the whole experience?  We got this done in a tattoo shop, not the mall!
